Lindsay Lopez

My greatest passion is working with children who are differential learners, due to learning disability such as but not limited to, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other specific learning disabilities.

I am a differential learner and have been diagnosed with dysgraphia, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, and ADHD. Being a differential learner has allowed me to be able to view “problems” in a different perspective. I use my “disabilities” to my ability helping to engage students with strategies to overcome academic obstacles.

In May 2013 I finished my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, where I taught with at risk populations for 2 years. In August 2017 I completed my MBA with a concentration in Health Administration. Soon after I realized that my calling was to become a Speech and Language Pathologist. I am currently in my final semesters of graduate school and will begin my Clinical Fellowship as an SLP in August 2021.

I have experience working as an SLPA in a language enrichment program using different evidence-based practices to help the students learn and succeed at the academic level they are currently performing at.

Language and literacy are areas that is specific and requires years of continuing education to be able to assess current level of ability and to be able to provide the tools necessary for your child to become successful readers and writers.
